BIOGRAPHY
 
Jon Grigg is without doubt one of Bath’s busiest and most successful DJs. Jon has lived in Bath (UK) since 1993; at the start of 2006 he has 5 residencies and makes regular appearances at other local club events. Outside of Bath, he can be found on the south coast in Bournemouth where he plays a monthly set at Klute.
Jon was born in Cornwall in the mid 70s, just as the US and UK disco era was about to explode. This would be the music that would influence his style in the years to come…
It was in 1987 that Jon bought his first record – at the age of 12 he considered a 7” copy of Genisis ‘Land Of Confusion’ to be a wise investment. He continued to collect 7” singles for 2 years – at this time House music was evolving at a rapid pace – Steve Silk Hurley hit the UK #1 with Jack Your Body, D-Mob were everywhere
with their Acid and S-Express even had their own Theme. The Beatmasters were also considered as being the next big thing,whilst Double Trouble and the Rebel MC were Street Tuff in their own unique way. Black Box popped over from Italy and delivered Ride On Time – it took the best part of 6 months for most people to twig that the ‘singer’ didn’t even sing a note! House music was on it’s way for sure.
